We are closed for half term holidays from Monday 31st October - Friday 4th November. We re-open on Monday 7th November (normal session times). Have a lovely half term break! Jolly Pirates team.  A little reminder to parents that we will be having our Halloween party on Friday 28th October 9.15 - 11.15am.

Another new friend came to Jolly Pirates today!! We met Jim (from the media initiative). He came along and told us his name and that he loves 'Football'. He is also Tom's friend. He also delivered to us a lovely helping hands sheet. Jim explained our helping hands sheet can be used by the children to get help anytime they need it. It's a great way to progress personal, social and emotional development in learning to ask for help if needed. When the child brings a helping hand to the staff member they will promote how to ask for help and help the child.
Jolly Pirates will be closed on the Wednesday 9th November and Wednesday 30th November for staff training days. Staff will be attending training at the Education Authority headquarters for the Inclusion Service.  Dear Parents, We will be having a Rainbow day on Friday 7th October 2017. This is where we ask that children come to Jolly Pirates in non uniform and wearing their own clothes. We would love to see lots of lovely colours. A little note will be issued to you all explaining why Rainbow day is very special to Jolly Pirates, Jolly Rodgers and all the staff. The staff will be taking part also.
Just another little reminder about our Parents evening, this Thursday at 7pm. This event is for parents only. We look forward to seeing you there were we will be discussing important information about the year ahead.  |
